For the long time and new Chinese Crested families, I would love to introduce you to a beautiful Australian-made skin care range specifically developed with the special needs of hairless breeds in mind.
These products are backed by science and have been thoughtfully formulated for delicate skin that needs gentle but effective care.
Chinese Cresteds have very special skin-care requirements, and finding products that are gentle enough for regular use while still doing the job properly is so important.
For establishing a good skin-care routine from the beginning can make such a difference. I am very happy to recommend products that I believe are genuinely suited to our beautiful hairless dogs. Having started out with my first cc back in 2010, I have not been so excited about a product until now

Why Canine Skin Co Products Have No Added Fragrance
At Canine Skin Co, they believe skincare for hairless dogs should be about supporting the skin, not covering it up with fragrance. Our Silk Cleanser and Gentle Polish contain no added fragrance or essential oils. The Silk Cleanser may have an extremely subtle natural scent from its carefully selected ingredients, but there is no perfume added. This is a deliberate formulation choice. Every ingredient in our skincare products has a purpose, whether that is cleansing, gently exfoliating, supporting the skin barrier or helping maintain healthy skin. We don't add fragrance simply to make a product smell a certain way. Hairless breeds can have particularly sensitive skin, and this can be especially noticeable during puppyhood and the teenage stage, when blackheads, blocked pores and skin changes can occur. By leaving out unnecessary fragrance and essential oils, we can keep our core skincare range as simple and gentle as possible. No perfume. No unnecessary essential oils. No masking the natural scent of your dog. Just purposeful skincare designed specifically with hairless breeds in mind. We will be introducing gently scented spritzes in the future for those who enjoy a beautiful finishing scent.
